You can visit this website without giving any personal information. Like many other websites, La Vie En Marine uses log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement around the site, and gather demographic information. IP addresses and other such information are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
La Vie En Marine runs on a server hosted by STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin. A data processing agreement (DPA) has been concluded with the provider. This ensures that the provider processes the personal data transmitted by us only according to our instructions and in strict compliance with the GDPR.
La Vie En Marine uses cookies to store information about visitors’ preferences, record user-specific information on which pages the user accesses or visits, customize web page content based on visitors’ browser type or other information that the visitor sends via their browser.

If you want to receive our newsletter, we need your mail address. To receive the newsletter we verify your mail address by „double opt-in“, which means after you requested the newsletter, we send you a confirmation which you then have to verify again. That step is necessary, so nobody else uses your mail address to request newsletters. Also it ensures to us that you really want to receiver our latest news.
If you decide, not to receive anymore mails from us, you can simply unsubscribe via the link in one of our mails or by requesting it personally via paula@lavieenmarine.com. Once you have done this, we will remove your mail address from our data base, so we will no longer bother you. When you change your mind about it, you can simply request the newsletter anew like described above.
